Labor Day Weekend 2020 Schedule LODGING OFFERS

Many of our traditional fall events like the Summit Foundation’s Duck Race and Breckenridge Yoga Festival have made the decision to postpone in-person events until 2021. Many event producers are rolling out exciting ways to get involved virtually so please check the event website frequently for the most up-to-date information. All featured fall events are subject to change in support of physical distancing protocol and public safety.

(Virtual) Great Rubber Duck Race

A longstanding Summit County tradition, the Great Rubber Duck Race has supported our community for three decades. Due to COVID restrictions, and with the community’s safety in mind, the 2020 Great Rubber Duck Race will be going virtual!! We are excited to reimagine this great event so we can keep the tradition alive. We will still be providing hundreds of prizes, including a $1,500 grand prize for the Great Rubber Duck Race, a VIP Cat Tour for 12 at Keystone for the Business Battle Duck Race, and ski passes for the Kids Duck Race. Show & Shine Car Show - September 5

Join us on the new, pedestrian-friendly Walkable Main Street for the Show & Shine Car show this Labor Day Weekend. Prizes will be awarded for Best of Show, Mayor’s Choice, Best Paint and more. Vehicles will be spaced at least 4’ apart to minimize groups gathering. Free and open to the public.

Great Divide Art Festival - September 5-7

The 46th Annual Gathering at the Great Divide Art Festival has been ranked as high as #13 in the top 200 of fine art shows in the United States by Sunshine Artist Magazine in 2017. The tradition continues over Labor Day Weekend and will feature over 100 artists with a wide range of mediums including photography, wood, glass, jewelry and pottery just to name a few. New location in the Colorado Mountain College parking lot, this show is a highlight of Labor Day festivities in Breckenridge.
