Edwin Carter Discovery Center

Summit Ski Exhibit

People were skiing in Breckenridge from the start. See historic photos and equipment from the early days of Summit County skiing and learn about the 10th Mountain Division, a military unit that fought on skis in World War II. Explore the evolution of the Breckenridge ski resort, which opened with Peak 8 in 1961.
